RTK radio license fee (Land Surveying)

I purchased the new Pac Crest Vantage Pro to comply with the narrowbanding rules and now I need to get a new license (sigh). My dealer is recommending a company that charges $550 to process the paperwork and give the FCC their share. Is this the going rate? Thanks.

The rate I am hearing is $600 for those who have done this in the last few months.

550 is probably average.
Google Federal Licensing, Inc. Pretty painless, but ouch, $550.00

I don't know if the fee for an RTK radio is different from that for handhelds, but I paid $475 to license my Motorola CP200s last May. I used National License Corporation, and was satisfied with the transaction.

I'm in the process of getting an RTK license now thru
radiolicensing.com. Total fee is $585 their take is
$160 with the balance being FCC fees. Sounded like a bargain
to me. The license is for 5 freq ... $150 for an additional 5
or additional $300 for all 15 available freqs.

If you already had a 25kHz license you do NOT need a new license, you only need to modify your current license to be narrow band compliant. The fee is drastically less expensive and should be $100 or less from what I have seen in the past.
