I noticed an oddity in a plat. Please look at the Kiddie Pool (Diameter = 150') in block C. I've never seen anything like that before. Maybe not so odd for a 1924 plat?

Be interesting to see what’s there now on GE. Somehow I don’t envision a sparkling clear blue kiddie pool. My subdivision has a sizable area dedicated as a ‘park’. It’s a bottomless swamp in summer but in winter is a wonderful area to ski and walk the dogs once frozen up.

Me thinks the term is similar to "steno pool".  Child labor and all that.  The kids from the various houses go there to get picked up for the ride to the "sweat shop" of the day.
