This is my standard response, when ever anyone asks; How's it Going? I like to keep a positive attitude, and trying to make every day the best day ever is my goal...
I signed the paper work on my office today! I've been renting space from another surveyor for the last few years; he's retiring so I made him an offer he couldn't refuse! Well, I suppose he could've; he actually told me what he wanted and agreed...
Anyway, it's a done deal! All he had to do was hand me the keys! He was able to keep some personal stuff; pictures, computers, he had about 15 stuffed deer heads and antlers hanging around his office; but everything else is mine! Even a Chevy Suburban 2500!
So I guess you could say I'm pretty happy! I may have even done the happy dance!

It's just a guess, but the other surveyor was probably doing a happy dance too! He's glad to be rid of that ball and chain!

My best day was when I realized that I DIDN'T have to work anymore (at least not full time), and could just do the "interesting" stuff (when I feel like it).

Someone in my office this Monday morning walked in with grumpy pants on. When my other coworker asked me what happened, my response was "I am not sure about him, but I've been having a great morning since I woke at 5!"
It is so much more pleasant to be an optimist.
