I'm interested in this setup.  I'll need to talk to my Spectra dealer about switching from layout pro to survey pro.  Apparently they both cost the same new, so hopefully, they can relinquish a license and give me one for survey pro.  Let me look into it, and I'll be getting back to you.  I'm assuming this is fully robotic.  I know they have the lock n go, robotic and maybe something else.  I need a robotic.

EDIT: I guess the lock n go is just missing a radio.  If this has a radio, which it appears to, I should be good.  Let me talk to my dealer.

@marchiondasurvey Yes, it does have radio.  Fully robotic.  Dealer said I would be good to change to survey pro and not have any issues.  I am not sure about the software but they may be willing to do that.  Let me know what you find out through your dealer.  I can possibly talk with my dealer and ask them if I could get it swapped as well on my end.  I don't mind asking them.  All they can say is no.  Thanks!

I spoke to my dealer. They are telling me I would need to drop $2300 to purchase Survey Pro outright to run alongside layout pro.  I asked by email about relinquishing layout pro and swapping in survey pro. He basically ignored the question and said I needed to buy survey pro. If you want to check with your dealer to see if they can do anything, it would be appreciated. If they can, we can agree on a price before they change anything on the collector.

Thanks

Karl

@marchiondasurvey My dealer wants 2800 for me to purchase the software.  Looks like your dealer would be the better route price wise.  I would be willing to work on the price to make this deal possible.  Let me know your thoughts and we can have a phone call if you would like to discuss or move forward.

Thanks,

Justin

@marchiondasurvey

Just wanted to touch base and see if you had any further interest before I pursue alternatives to sell the equipment.  I am happy to discuss pricing and work out a deal if your wanting to pursue.   If your no longer interested I do appreciate your time in looking.  If someone else is interested please let me know.  I know the software being layout pro and not survey pro may deter some, but I am willing to work on that to ensure anyone has a setup that is usable for surveying rather than construction layouts.  I am also open to any advice anyone more versed in the equipment field may have.  I am just a general contractor with minimal survey experience.  Only took a few classes in school and loved it.  Some days wished I had pursued the survey option rather than construction management.  I really hate this equipment is just sitting in my office not getting used.  I didn't do my proper research in the beginning when I purchased and this isn't exactly what I was looking for.  Its so much more powerful and robust than what I need to layout house foundations.  It needs a good home with someone that will use it well.  Thanks to everyone for your help!  I have found this forum very informative and helpful in researching questions related to surveying.

Thanks,

Justin
