Wild N01 Level

Wild N01 for sale.

From the 80's but in close to immaculate condition.

Case has some wear and scuffs but very nice inside.

This is not an auto level - there is no compensator, just a precise tube level on the side.

Probably not suitable for production work because of the extra time needed to level up, but it is cute as hell and once level, it matches my Sokkia auto level +/- 1mm

Not sure of the mag - I think maybe only 20X

It has a standard cross hair and stadia lines

You can turn 90's with it.

Thinking $250 including shipping to Canada/US.

Overseas, I'll have to evaluate the cost.

Thanks for looking!

A level of this type does have one important use nowadays...when leveling across a large bridge, or anywhere there are significant vibrations that pretty much render the compensator unusable. I bought a "tilting" level (Wild N2) recently just for that purpose.

Yes, that was kind of where I was heading when I bought it - but the N2 is far superior with the magnified split bubble and reversible scope - I like that feature! (at least I think I do, never having tried it)

This is very simple, very basic, no fragile moving parts inside, but not sure I would want to do a long loop with it - good for a small building site.
