California Exam Calculator Policy
Does anyone have experience using a graphing calculator (such as a TI 83) during the California Exam?
Prometric (testing center) seems relatively free with calculator use as long as it abides by the below rules. However, I am hesitant due to how restrictive the calculator policy was on the FS and PS exams.
- The calculators allowed to be used for the Board??s state-specific examinations include any handheld calculator that does not meet the exceptions listed below.
- Having a QWERTY keypad
- Smartwatches
- Palmtop
- Laptop, handheld, or desktop computers
- Data collectors
- Personal data assistants (PDA)
- Organizers and tablet devices
- Calculators with other alphanumeric keypads are acceptable.
