hello,
is it possible to make RTk link on a leica 1200 serie over phone thethering instade of the UHF radios ?

Yes it is. Leica makes GSM and CMDA modems in a GFU housing that mount directly to the GX1200 or via bracket to the ATX120/RX1250. Since the bracket and GFU is a little clunky on the RX1250 I opted to use a Bluetooth connection to a phone when I was still using them. The problem with that was finding a phone that still utilized the AT commands. At the time we used Motorola Tundras.

@john-putnam tank you for your reply, how can you point the rover to the base, using a ip Adresse?
