Surveyor relocated to Tennessee taking Tennessee portion of exam. Does anyone know of a course or study guide that will help?
Thanks so much
This may be some help for you.
Tommy Young is based in Tennessee and chimes in from time to time. Hopefully this message will find him and he will know what you need to know.
Welcome!
You might want to do a search of the forums. I used "Tennessee state-specific" (no quotes) and found at least 2 threads that briefly discuss the computer-based test. Here's one.
Hey, Tommy, it's good to here from you. Like you, I haven't personally had to deal with the subject here, but, I was hoping you might have overheard from co-workers or at CE events learned certain things.
Thanks for responding.
It was a little over 10 years ago that I took the Tennessee exam after being licensed in Georgia for several years. From what I remember the laws and regulations were the main part of the exam. Know how to draft a plat, write a legal description, compute splits in property, etc. The exam was thorough but straight forward.
