Carlson install on new "home" laptop
Okay all, I am trying to be very cautious here.
I have a new laptop, and I have installed Carlson Survey 14 w/Intelli,
on this machine.I also purposefully uninstalled the software running on my old “home” laptop.
Now I’m faced with the options to get this thing up and running.
In the “Reg. Method” tab
I can choose
1. Form -Fill in information and send registration form
2. Internet – Register on-line instantly
3. Already have a change key
4. Register LaterI would prefer 2.) to do internet using my original key code I got about 11 months ago.
Next, I have the “Install Info” tab
1. New install or maintenance upgrade
2. Home use.
3. Re-installation
4. Windows or AutoCAD Upgrade
5. New Hardware (new hard drive, network card, new computer)Here, I am conflicted, since this is on a “Home use” machine, so I don’t care if the old “Home use” license is blown up. But I really can’t afford for my main Desktop to go down today, if it doesn’t work.
In the “User Info” tab, it is pulling the computer user name (Win8 machine) and the Company is the computer brand, this is not how I registered before, I used the real names.
In the “Authorize” tab
I get a pop up that saysPlease come back to this screen once you have
1. Filled out Registration sheet and sent it to Carlson
2. Obtained a change key from Carlson
3. Selected pre-autorized change key optionNOW, what to do ?
