Just rejected a record set that came in for final review and signature. It had been plotted /printed slightly less than scale. So the trimmed sheets were smaller in dimension than specified by the ARM, and when you slap a scale against it, the scale is off. I emailed them and pointed out the deficiencies and asked them to send me a corrected set....
Did you make them write "I will not trim the sheets" one hundred times also? 😉
The last time I used a scale was in 2001 I think. Scaling in contours for some rough grade on a Home Depot. Ah the memories.

Will they learn their lesson and plot to the scale they call for? Maybe... 🙂
EDIT: for the record if I was checking said plan set, I'd send it back.
A common cause for a plot not scaling is adobe having “scale to fit” instead of “actual size “ when plotting.
