I am attaching photos of a sliding survey rod I frequently use for my laser receiver. I know this rod is very old, but I cannot find anything like it for sale anywhere. It has three tiers for height and each one slides using a lever. When the level is toggled, it moves washer and a cam that allow the rod to use with essentially zero resistance. They are far superior to any rod I have seen for laser purposes. Laser surveys are not the same without them. Has anyone seen these or know where I can buy them? thanks.
Seco (Trimble) doesn’t make that anymore. Was called sur -lock or tru-lock and I used it too. Was a great product. If you really like it hunt for a used one. eBay?
i use the Seco ultra light 15.25’ rod now which is a twist lock.
They bought and killed the Crain Alumalite rod series too.
Still bitter about that. I want more of those rods.
