I am trying to find the perfect gift for a newly licensed surveyor. I was thinking of having something made like this. Do yall have any other suggestions?
A copy of Clark on Surveying & Boundaries or Black's Law Dictionary. Any reference book for the start of or to add to his professional library.
Not a new surveyor, but I recently gave the guy I studied for the exam with 37 years ago a brand new copy of "Chaining the Lands" while he was recovering from surgery. He loved it.
When I graduated with my geomatics degree, our class got custom Bertnsen engraved brass monuments.
I think you may have to call them and get the custom design sorted out, but it's a pretty cool idea and I like that I can have it on my desk and not on my wall, since I am in a cubicle.
