So I have this old Wrangler jacket, been wearing it a looooog time.
It's beginning to finally fray, and SWMBO looks at it and says; "Ever consider an new one?"
No, I hadn't, but it gets me to thinking and I'm at the Big R so I look at them,,,,,,,,,,
I'm looking at mine, looking at new ones, what a bunch of junk compared to the old one.
Then it dawns on me, mine is so old it was USA made.
I remember wearing it kinda new on a trip I took in 1991:
No, I don't believe I will get a new one, so there!!!
Looks like it's barely used yet an just breaking in.....IMHO
My bride found a new old stock sherpa lined levis jacket a few years ago. I am having trouble getting it to break in. Quality stuff...
I was looking at what's left of the neck tag on mine and you can just make out made in the USA. I doubt that will survive another washing but maybe.
I have always been getting my cotton winterwear drycleaned and let them give it a tad of starch to make it water resistant.
