A two hour drive north across the plains, through the vinyards and into the broken hill country and down to the sea at Gore Bay.
Gore Bay is a remote seaside village, mostly holiday homes and a few permanent residents.
Set up on the esplanade reserve, today’s job was to as-built some piles being driven to support a couple of prefabricated buildings on the hillside behind – you might be able to make out the digger. Its a real ‘Grand Designs’ sort of project – a challenging site, a keen owner and a very limited budget.
